We love Ko Pha Ngan

We are now in Ko Pha Ngan,Thailand for 5 days. Before Ko pha Ngan we waited 4 hours in Ko lanta for the minibus to pick us up, took 2 car ferrys and a minibus took us about 3 hours. Krabi wasnt that nice,neat market though. Our hostel for one night was one of the best we have stayed in, with a roof top bar and live music. 5.30am wake up to get the bus then a catamaran. About 5 hours later we got a taxi to our hostel.We were offered a scooter ride they were going to take us and our big bags on the scooter between there legs to our hostel! There was no way we were going to do that! Ko pha ngan is a really nice place, awsome clean beaches with lots of bars and restaurants on the sand. Enjoyed a nice swim, water is clear and warm. It was very unusual though we kept on feeling these little stings all over us. Apparently its little jellyfish(not harmful).We will be here for the full moon party on the 19th which is really famous. In the low season about 10000 people attend.( we are here in the low season). Last night we shared a pad thai for $3 for dinner. Checked out the beach at night, was really cool, lanterns, colourful lights, candles, lounges and fire dancers. There was a thai women walking around going up to tourists playing connect four. If we lost we had to give her 100baht which is $3.Tim lost then i just had to have a go because i thought i would bet her,i lost, 200bhat down the drain and we were so happy just before because we had a super cheap dinner.Today we had our fried rice and then booked our trip to bangkok on the 20th,boat and bus. Day and night should be fun! Arrive in bangkok 6am. We are really excited! But we will miss the islands. Its such a beautiful day today bright sunshine, we just wish we could have ice. The coconut milkshakes are amazing,best thing ever. We walked to check out another beach, huge boulders everywhere another stunning beach. Walked on a bridge over water that went around a bit of the island. We decided we would go back to the original beach, what a trek, roads basically vertical in the heat! Dont know how the scooters drive up. Have spent most of the day at beach drinking chang and pad thai takeaway on the beach. Lots of swims,even the dogs are swimming. There was one huski that should not even be on a island hunting for fish. He stayed in the sea the whole time we were there. Then decided the beach was getting way to hot and uncomfortable so we walked a few meters to the pool at a resort on the beach front that we are allowed to use,they must be the same owners. We are now just chilling at the pool in the shade. We may be going to a jungle party tomorrow night. Every night there are lots of things going on,pool parties every night! This is the best island we have been to,we would def come back! It because the beaches and streets are clean and the people are not pushy and friendly. We love it! We have have meet people from russian,america,ireland. Wish you could all join us!! We will post photos later xx love you
