What a trip to ko lanta. They day started of at 5am when we thought we would get up and see the sunrise. Off we go in the dark with our rubbish bag coats and our torch in the pouring rain. We were heading for the viewpoint following the signs all of a sudden the signs stop. We got lost and walked a hour to the top of the hill to miss the sunrise. We did see some giant ants on the way though. We checked out at 11am to catch the boat across to ko lanta. Was still wet and stormy. A quarter into the trip everyone looks like they are feeling ill, one girl pukes out the window and then there is me i starting puking out the other side of the boat. The waves and swells were huge! We were in a tall skinny boat that sat 150pax. Never felt so sick before. Another girl comes to my window and shares it with me. i was glad to reach land, then we hope on the back of a ute to get to our accom, which didnt help the motion sickness. Yesterday was a fresh start, sunny beautiful day, fried rice, hired a car from the owner of the place we are staying at. Drove a round the island and stoped of at some amazing little places to eat and drink, views are amazing. Its a sleepy little place not much to do. We are here in the low season. Beaches turn horrible this time of the year, beaches coverd in rubbish, apparently comes from india. Saw some amzing animals along the way. Had the best coconut drink ever with the worst chicken ever. Went for a swim in the pool, then went and got dinner which was actually on fire...real fire. Tim is eating eating always eating! Later on in the evening we checked out a beach that is not so dirty, so many shells, i could of brought buckets and buckets of perfect shells back.We are still not sure where we are going after ko lanta, all we know it has to be on a boat as there is no other way out! Love you all and miss you guys xxx
