Maya bay

It has been amazing here in phi phi. It started off with a mini bus then a boat to phi phi. We were blown away by this place, very pretty!  When we arrived we were starving, went to the first place we saw, burgers, was that a mistake. The way she wiped her sweat off her forhead then flatened the bun straight after that. From then we knew ah ah lets not eat this. Lizard just hanging by the brown chopping board she just used to prepare the chicken and now unwashed using it to prepare the salad. We had to figure out how to avoid eating them...plan....take away.all we had to do was find a bin far away enough.Lucky it was cheap. We have just been exploring and swimming the last few days. But yesterday is like a movie. 2pm we went on a trip that nearly killed us and never will forget. Pouring rain,gusts, tropical storm. Off we go in a wooden boat. Longboat shown in photos. Waves, huge waves, scariest boat ride i have been on. Life jackets were a must. Half way to maya bay next minute our wooden boat snaps on edge that the roof is attached too.roof flying in the air! ( dont worry no water was coming in)Thai man that doesnt speak english calling for help( just tim and i on boat) tim has to hold the roof down while thai man is trying to hold this motor on a stick navigating towards the bay. Wood has been snapped off on the side of boat, im feeling really safe. I wanted to turn back! Off we go to the first bay before maya. Clear, calm blue water. Went for a swim while he tried to fix the boat with rope, best thing we have done. It was reasuring when we saw a crack down the side of our boat. Next bay... snorkel with thousands of fish. Next bay.....thai man says" jump off, swim to the cliff and climb a spider web of robe, walk through the jungle and then youll be at maya bay. Great....didnt know this was in the plan. Off we go, cut my foot on rock or something, 1st aid in jungle, poured alcohol on it. Finally we are at maya beautiful place, packed with 100 other tourists though. we head back and he has some pineapple for us. Off we go back in the middle of ocean. We made it back safe with one scratch. Made it in time to get a braid in my hair.Dinner, walked 10min in torriential  rain trying to find a building that is orange. Found it walked through mud to get to front door to find a baby monkey in the kitchen on a lesh, lets eat. We order and the thai women says you want fucking spicy! Haha huge snails everywhere, cats. Food was amazing though! today we walked through pitch black in the jungle at 5am with a torch in rain again to see the sunrise,got lost and no sunrise. Took us a hour just to get to the top of somewhere. We are going to  koh lanta today. Xxx
