Busy day in Bangkok!

Yesterday morning we checked out of our hostel to walk a few blocks to our new hostel ( its a bit like a guest house $8 a night) to meet kelsey. I tried to carry my bag on back so i didnt have to run through the traffic wheeling it in the rain. I made it one block after that i threw in the towel,it was to heavy, tim said the thais think im some sorta crazy white women. They were looking at me, but i didnt care i needed to get this bag off me. We made it to our new hostel and kelsey was already there, she only just made her flight as cathay pacific cancelled there flight so they were put on to her flight luckily 2 seats were left. Late morning we went for a walk to figure out what we were going to do,we tried to get scammed twice but we were too on to it! Im glad we did our research because they did sound genuine. We got offered a tuk tuk ride to chang mai 100km away! Crazy thais! Only in asia.We ended up going to the grand palace! It was spectacular! Too many tourists though, the place was covered in them. After seeing this temple i dont think we need to see any more. Then we walked along the tuk tuks to get cheapest price, alot of them rip you off. 50baht it was a deal, all 3 of us hoped in the back of this tiny wee tuk tuk holding on tightly! It wasnt as bad as i thought it would be, maybe he is a ok driver not a really bad one. We had a beer at khoasan road, it was nice just to chill by the fan after our very hot intense day. Later that evening we meet up with some people we meet from the last hostel and took kelsey out for her 1st street food! Pad thai then banana nutella crepe/pancake my favourite. The crazy frog lady was around again, like 7 different ladies trying to sell bracelets, hats etc. A english guy came running up to us saying he brought too many bugs, he had a bag full so tim helped him eat them! Tim is fine today :)  We then took the red bus number 15. The red buses are free because they are so old. One of our friends was in 7/11 and the number 15 came along,it was frantic, 6 white people running trying to jump on the bus we just made it. The doors close viciously! Enough to chop you in half! We headed for the tallest rooftop bar in the world! Our stop came up and the bus was packed we all were getting nervous hopping we would all get off together. It was such a happy moment when we managed to do it! The bar was beautiful! The city looked amazing,we felt like we were in bangkok! We all really enjoyed yesterday!

We dont under stand!
