Walk slow in Vietnam

The best advice that we have been given is to walk slowly across the roads in Vietnam. We thought that was stupid at first but when we put the plan in place it worked! Scooters and cars just go around you while you walk slow like a snail and close your eyes gently. There are 5 million scooters zooming around in ho chi minh city and it really does look like it. We just sat and watched them go by, you could watch all day as there are always new things to carry. They where even using the footpath like a road while we were sitting watching it... was like being on the very edge of a motorway. No photos of ho chi minh as we were warned 3 times not to take anything with you. We also heard from other people in the hostel that something of theres had got stolen.
I was in the bus so the camera was safe, this was early in the morning so this is a quarter of the traffic. Ho chi minh

So we are now in Delat 8 hours later through the hills and have been here for 2 nights leaving tomorrow for one of our biggest trip ever. 18 hours......on a bus! Delat is cold we are up quite high its 20Âșc which is frezzing for us now. We have been sweating, overheating and wipping our face every few mintues for the whole time we have been away until yesterday. We regreted we sent our sweatshirts back home. It feels so much safer here, feels nice to be not so on edge.
Last night we walked around the town trying to find dinner we eventually found something. Then we walked past a shoe shop, kelsey was trying some high heels on but unfortunaley they didnt have a western size. It was hilarous they were sending the different sizes of shoes up and down a manhole on a bit of rope in a bag that had been taped and taped with brown tape. You had to be there! We also meet a man called hon doing tours around Delat we were uncertain and said we would ph him the next day.
Today we deciced to go with Hon in a car to explore Delat. He had a driver and was a very good driver for here! First stop was the cable car, amazing views and another temple.

Coffee farm that had a handmade shop. They were weaving with silk, it was one of the coolest things! She said they do a 4 month coarse to teach you! I am definatley going back for 4 months to learn how to weave and live with them in there village. It would be amazing! We learnt how they made coffee, a weasel eats the plant ( coffee bean) shits it out and then they roast it. Then we drunk weasel coffee!

Next stop was the tea leaf farm, which was interesting also. Then it was lunch time, he took us to one of his favourite restaurants and it was the best food we have had! Yum yum yum! It was a feast!

Next it was elephant waterfall, it was quite the rock climb! It was nice waterfall but very dirty and brown!

Pit stop number something......silk farm, very interesting and amazing to see, the woman work very hard!
Minority village was next, was very cool to see how they live!

Then we went to a place called the crazy house, its in the top 10 weirdist houses. It looked like a disney land house. That was our last stop!
